Memories of 'Empress Ki'

'Empress Ki'

 Winter is winding down here in Australia. The mornings and nights are still chilly, but whenever I feel this chilly, I think back to the filming of "Empress Ki." It was incredibly cold, and I have so many memories of it, especially since the episodes were so long compared to other dramas.

Because it was such a long project, the actors and staff were incredibly close-knit, more so than on any other drama set. I especially remember filming in China, where the bathrooms weren't adequate, so we had to conserve water until we returned to our accommodations. Everyone worked incredibly hard.

I haven't written a review for this drama yet, but I wonder if I can. My feelings are so complex and nuanced that I don't think it'll be easy to write a review for this drama.
